Incentives for ENERGY STAR® Equipment

Do you own an electric vehicle? The Appalachian Power Charge Forward program offers residential customers incentives for the purchase and/or installation of an ENERGY STAR® Level 2* (220 volt) EV charging equipment for their homes. This program offers savings and convenience while charging at home.

Who is eligible for this program?

  • Appalachian Power residential customers in who are located in our West Virginia service territory.
  • Individuals who own an electric vehicle.
  • Individuals who are purchasing or own ENERGY STAR® Level 2 (220 volt) EV charging equipment. Find out if your equipment qualifies.
